Clay workshop for children inspired by Davinia-Ann Robinson's exhibition at San Mei Gallery.
Join us as part of Davinia-Ann Robinson's current exhibition at San Mei Gallery to make beautiful clay ornaments using items commonly found in nature!
This workshop will teach participants how to use leaves, flowers, wood and our own bodies to create textured imprints in air dry clay. All materials are provided and the ornaments make great pendants, gifts and trinket holders! Please note: Participants will be able to take their creations with them to dry at home. After about 24 hours, the ornaments can be decorated with water based paint or colouring pencils.
Children must be accompanied by an adult. This workshop is aimed towards children aged 5-11 years old.
You will need:
An apron or t-shirt that can get messy
A leaf or flower or something you have collected from outside (we will also have a selection to choose from)
