Learn to paint with chemicals to create unique, and often surprising, photographic images.
About
The chemigram process exists somewhere between painting and photography, and involves painting with chemicals onto light sensitive paper.
This three-hour workshop will explore how everyday household items such as coffee, lemon and toothpaste can be used to create mysterious and surprising images.
This workshop is led by Sayako Sugawara, a London-based Japanese artist working with photography, moving image and installation.
All materials are included in the fee and no previous photography or darkroom experience is necessary.
