About
Following the exhibition for International Women's Day, the ronapainting gallery is now opening for Oxfordshire Artweeks.
Local graduate Chase Marsden's illustrations will be on display, along with his newly released psychedelic colouring book 'Surfing on the Comet's Trail'.
Having graduated during the pandemic, Chase was unable to have a degree show, so participating in Artweeks is a wonderful opportunity.
His work is entirely done with pen and pencil, taking inspiration from the likes of Mc Escher and Chris Foss.
Initially abstract oil painting had been his focus, working under the guidance of Desmond Morris, but he has now found his stride in high detail fine liner work with a psychedelic science-fiction bend.
Chase Marsden will be personally welcoming visitors to the gallery for the duration of the exhibition which will run from the 1st of May to the 22nd, open every day except Sunday.
