Recent video works that explore how new technologies have instilled a complex form of social control over populations in both the physical and virtual sphere. Working largely with appropriated visual material that is re-filmed, effected and re-contextualised, Tweed adds disembodied, speech-synthesised narration. His alter-egos appearing to speak for new, hybridised life-forms and anonymous collectives, voicing strange manifestos that are, by turns, dark, paranoiac and evangelical.
