Assembly Point is delighted to present an exhibition of new work by Charlie Godet Thomas.
Dim Lit presents the viewer with an environment of unoccupied spaces, littered with debris the built environment announces through broken signs; “CASH or GO!” and “COLD COLDER OLD OLDER”, the statements ringing out across the landscape unheard. Elsewhere, wind chimes turn silent circles waiting patiently for the air to move them into song, into speech, without reprieve. What has been lost, and what do we stand to lose in amongst the business and the busyness, of everyday life? 3
