Antiques Road Trip presenter Gordon Brockman will auction off art works to suit all tastes and pockets to raise funds for the Ukraine appeal.

About

On the 22nd of April at 7pm Auctioneer, Gordon Brockman (as seen on Antiques Road Trip and Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is) will be overseeing the sale of many donated works of art in a bid to raise funds for the relief of those suffering the consequences of the Russian offensive in the Ukraine.

Guggleton has been delighted by the response from the artistic community to their 'shout out' for donations and there will be a wide variety of work on offer, to suit all tastes, directly from their studios. Original oil paintings, drawings, watercolours, photographs and sculpture will be up for grabs from 80 of the region's most appreciated artists including Day Bowman, Matthew Hayward, Patricia Burns and Rachel Sargent. Also on offer will be items donated by members of the public from their personal collections, including three prints from none other than Charles Rennie Mackintosh.

This is a great opportunity to indulge your passion for art whilst helping a worthy cause and there will no doubt be some great bargains to be had! Tickets for seats at the sale, which are free, can be reserved here:
www.citizenticket.co.uk/events/guggleton-farm-arts/art-auction-for-ukraine

The auction will be available online for a week prior to the sale for pre-bidding, or anyone who cannot make it on the night, at the address below. Any items that do not sell on the evening will also be available to bid upon for another week after the sale at the same place. Online bidding pre-sale will be suspended 24 hours prior to the auction: www.guggletonfarmartsauctions.com

All proceeds from the sale will go to The Disaster and Emergencies Commission's Ukraine Humanitarian Fund, recommended by The Guardian newspaper as the most effective place to send funds from the UK.
