Turner Contemporary has transformed the Clore Learning Studio into Chalk Stream, designed for play, alongside the children’s art library of over 400 books and regular workshop programme.

Go make your mark in the stream but before you enter, please read the rules below:

  • Help yourself to chalk and draw on anything black – let your creativity flow!
  • Collaborate with other artists in the stream.
  • Use the stream bridges to move around without stepping on artwork.
  • Before leaving, use the brushes provided to dust yourself off and wipe your feet.

Important information:

  • Please supervise your children at all times while exploring this space together
  • For your enjoyment of Chalk Stream, we may need to limit numbers at busy times.
  • Recommended stay time 45 minutes
