Ceri Richards (1903-1971) was a pre-eminent 20thc Welsh painter who achieved international recognition as a painter and printmaker. His prints have distinctive life and energies, infused by his admiration for European masters, such as Picasso and Matisse, yet developing his own vision as he enhanced the arts of lithography and screenprinting
