Welcome to a pop-up exhibition at the ceramic studio Clayground Berlin in Rudolfkiez. The exhibition will display ceramics by Tiziana Schembri and collages by Joanna Simson.
About
Tiziana Schembri is a ceramics artist from Malta. Her work is inspired by her fascination with marine biology. This exhibition features wheel thrown and hand-built ceramic vases as well as functional homeware.
Joanna Simson is a multidisciplinary artist from Sweden. Her collage work is intuitive and process-based, focusing on composition, texture, colour and form. The images seek to balance the abstract with recognisable, organic and non-organic forms and different materials. Inspired by urban life, architecture, mess and waste, new pieces are continuously made from old ones, in an endless cycle of tearing and (re)building. Joanna will show a selection of recent collages as well as her new zine Pep Talk.
