About
Trinidad Ball was born in Barcelona and raised in Latin America. She is now based in London. In 2003 she left a career as a Probation Officer to dedicate herself to art and has been painting full-time since then. She has been a member of Skylark Galleries since 2007.
Trinidad describes herself as a contemporary realist. She believes in painting what she sees because she sees beauty everywhere. She says "I don’t think you need to add anything to the objects, just show their innate beauty, be it people or objects."
Trinidad's painting style is inpired by painters such as Velazquez, Caravaggio, Rembrandt, Goya, and Hopper. They all loved colour, dark and light and were masters of their medium.
Trinidad will be at the gallery on Weds 7th and Thurs 8th August.
