Celebrate Differences: An Art Show for Autism Acceptance

In celebration of World Autism Acceptance Month, Inner Joy Art Gallery proudly presents “Celebrate Differences”, an art exhibition that embraces the uniqueness of individuals on the autism spectrum. Running from 3 April to 30 April 2025, this exhibition is a powerful showcase of 17 talented neurodivergent artists, all part of the START Art Program under Gifted Brush.

The theme of the exhibition aligns with the global theme for World Autism Acceptance Month in 2025: “Celebrate Differences”. 🫶🏼 It encourages us to shift our perspective from seeing autism as a condition that needs to be fixed, to recognizing and appreciating the strengths and diverse perspectives that autism brings to our world. This month-long celebration is not only about raising awareness, but about taking tangible action to create inclusive, supportive environments for autistic individuals.

The artworks featured in this exhibition offer a glimpse into the diverse experiences of neurodivergent artists, celebrating their individuality, creativity, and the beauty found in differences. Through their unique expressions, these artists invite us to understand, accept, and honour the vibrant spectrum of human experiences. 💕

This exhibition is a collaborative effort between Inner Joy Art Gallery and START Art Program, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting neurodivergent artists. It is proudly sponsored by Commerce Dot Com, a government-linked company under the Ministry of Finance, Malaysia. 🙏🏼 Their generous support has made this platform possible for these exceptional artists to share their stories with the world.
