The Three Day CDPT Mash Up 360 Event will take place on February 4-6th 2009, 12pm-9pm each day and will be held in SPACE at the University of Portsmouth Eldon Building, Winston Churchill Avenue, Portsmouth PO1 2DJ Live performances each evening from 5pm The Creative Digital Practice and Theory Mash-up project has become a focus, discussion point and resource for new media, digital content and cross discipline projects and ideas at the Creative and Cultural Industries Faculty. Based in the School of Creative Arts Film and Media it has enabled the discussion of interdisciplinarity and research across the university that will lead to providing new skills and creative artefacts informing students and researchers, integrating differing disciplines and linking practice with theory. Due to the interest, encouragement and discussion received so far, it is proposed that a Creative Digital Practice and Theory (CDPT) Mash-Up event takes place in the form of a three day creative ‘art-lab' experience for students, staff, organisations and interested individuals that will include workshops, discussions, exhibitions, interactivity, technology and creative participation.
