About

This Autumn Austin/Desmond Fine Art will present, for the first time, drawings, watercolours, monotypes and etchings by the surrealist artist Catherine Yarrow (1904-1990). These highly individual works represent fragments of an oeuvre spanning more than 50 years; from Yarrow's escape in the early 1920s from the stifling conformity of English life to the excitement and excesses of the Paris, and later New York, art world.
