Catherine Bertola creates installations, objects and drawings that respond to particular sites, collections and historic contexts, looking beyond the surface to uncover forgotten and invisible histories. This spring, the Brontë Parsonage Museum in Haworth, West Yorkshire, commissioned her to produce new work in response to the museum and its history. At this talk, Catherine will discuss the resulting sound installation, To Be Forever Known, as well as previous exhibitions and commissions at high profile organisations such as the Whitworth Art Gallery, Manchester; V&A Museum, London and the National Trust.
