About

This exhibition by photographer Jack Lovel presents a selection of abstract moments from Iwan Iwanoffs oeuvre documented since 2016. The work of Iwanoff is a unique example of Modernist architecture found in the suburbs of the world's most isolated city, Perth, Australia.

The stark light, infinite blue skies and arid landscape played an instrumental role in shaping Iwanoffs approach to architecture - something which Jack conveys honestly in his photographs.
Having spent his formative years in a family home designed by the visionary architect, Iwan's aesthetic left a lasting impression on Jack.

In collaboration with the London Festival of Architecture, we are excited to showcase this project for the first time in Europe.
Modernity specialises in 20th Century Nordic design. Est Stockholm 1998. Their newest London gallery opened in January 2023.
