"Cast a shadow" is a multi-disciplinary and cross-cultural exhibition of Art and Design students from the Royal College of Art.
About
Shadows in themselves are complex beings. For some, they represent a lack, darkness, a false vision and uncertainty. For others, they offer protection, secrecy, and concealment. The interdisciplinary and cross-cultural Art and Design students from the Royal College of Art explore the complexity of shadows through various paintings, sculptures, photography, and moving images. Through their artistic reflection, they look at the flickering shadow of current political, social, environmental and cultural changes and personal emotions.
We invite the visitors to explore the different visions of shadows and take a resort in the shade of Safehouse 1&2 at 139 Copeland Rd, London SE15 3SN.
