Martyna Kliszewska is an actress and a painter, graduate of The National Theatre Academy in Krakow in 1999, and the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz in 2017.
About
Martyna has successfully reconciled her work in the theatre with creative painting for many years. She presented her paintings at the individual and group exhibitions in the galleries: Kuratorium in Warsaw, The Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts in Częstochowa, Tarnobrzeg and Opole. She exhibited during the 20th Festival of Stars in Międzyzdroje and The Night of Museums 2019 in Warsaw. While working in the theatre, she appeared along great Polish artists such as Kazimierz Dejmek, Mikołaj Grabowski, Tadeusz Słobodzianek and Michał Urbaniak.
The latest FRIDA theatre project: ‘FRIDA Life Art and Revolution’ written by Jakub Przebindowski combines the artist’s painting and acting talent. Kliszewska, in a hypnotic and breathtaking way takes on the role of Frida Kahlo transforming herself into the persona of a contemporary great painter.
Martina’s works are in private collections in France, Italy, Germany, The United States and in several private collections of Polish Contemporary Art.
