Carole Peace Sculpture & Drawing Exhibition
About
The show will feature over 30 Bronze and Bronze Resin pieces ranging from 17cm to 170 cm life-size garden sculpture. The Fairfax Gallery has represented Carol for over 15 years both in the UK and Internationally and is proud to hold her latest solo exhibition at our Tunbridge Wells gallery.
Sculptor Carol studied at the Winchester School of Art 1989 – 92 and is the founder of the Bristol Drawing School.
Many of the new sculptures are about being here, appreciating here, 'I Have it Here', 'Here', 'Place', 'Reflected'. Others are offering a thank you for what we have 'For the Birds'.
In all, there is tenderness combined with strength, particularly 'Come Along Girls' and 'In my Hands’ and of course the sculptures are, and remain to be about love, the romantic 'There you Are' and family love in 'Bang'. The first sculpture from last year, the one that got me back on my feet again, back in the studio, is 'Love Remains', on that we can rely. – Carol Peace 2021
