About

Curated by Andy Griffiths, the exhibition celebrates the 10th anniversary of the introduction of Iron Casting at Carmarthen Art School.

The exhibition chronicles the development of the Iron Casting process, its inception into the Sculpture Department’s curriculum at Jobs Well Campus, its champions – tutor’s, artist’s and student’s alike.

Iron Casting is a world-wide scene with its community demonstrating the diversity of iron as a sculptural medium. The work on show includes archive material, films, photographs, performances plus sculptures cast in iron.

The show features: Bob Booth/Mared Davies/Megan Davies/Mike Davies/Tom Fabian/Catherine Fairgrieve/Andy Griffiths/Robert Harding/Ashleigh Harold/Dilys Jackson/Justine Johnson/Alison Lockhead/Lee Odishow/Matthew Tomalin.
