The National Gallery celebrates Carlo Lorenzetti and Bruno Conte, two of the five "companions in the research" of the exhibition at the Galleria Il Segno in Rome in 1982, recomposing the itinerary with two anthological exhibitions curated by Giuseppe Appella titled Reality in equilibrium.
Fausto Melotti, author of the text Realtà in equilibrio published in the spreadsheet published on the occasion of the exhibition at Il Segno, which included Lorenzetti and Conte also Giulia Napoleone, Rodolfo Aricò and Giuseppe Uncini, considered the five artists "anchorites, far from the temptations of world "that" they see from the windows and they know outside and before time what will be necessary to the construction of the art building, companions in the search, companions in what the art requires, sacrifice and love.
