The Campaign for Empathy, the world’s first community-centred and non-party-affiliated campaign for empathy, has been running in the London borough of Newham since March 2019, led by London-based Finnish empathy artist and designer Enni-Kukka Tuomala.
About
On 8 June, Enni-Kukka is staging a campaign rally to challenge the invisible emotional, social, cultural, ideological and economic boundaries between people. Newham residents are invited to come along to make banners, hear a variety of speakers on the topic of empathy, join a march around Royal Albert Wharf, and be a part of the creation of a new empathy artwork!
By making a rallying cry for empathy, which is proven to increase collaboration among people with different values and backgrounds, together with the rally participants Enni-Kukka hopes to harness the collective power of empathy to demonstrate in action its potential as a much need tool for social change in post-Brexit Britain.
More details will be announced soon!
