Solo Exhibition of paintings by French artist Camille Theodet
About
EXHIBITION: OCTOBER 13 - 29, 2022 (13.10 - 29.10.2022)
VERNISSAGE: OCTOBER 13 6pm-10pm (18:00 - 22:00)
Camille Theodet is a young French artist from Paris, France.
He is influenced by the classics, religious paintings of art history, erotic art, and the fetish scenes of Berlin. Using a modern eye and contemporary techniques, he proposes a sarcastic and ridiculous vision of what was considered sacred. He works with airbrush painting, spray paint, metallic paints and acrylic.
In this exhibition, we fill our front room with 22 paintings - all 50cm width x 70cm height, painted on stretched canvas. These vividly colored pieced do not require frames. They are affordably priced and ready to hang.
Theodet earned a Bachelor Degree in Fine Art studies before entering a private school for special effects makeup. After playing with different mediums, it became clear that painting and drawing were the most attractive mediums to him. He decided to move to Berlin in 2017, where he now lives and works.
We also are exhibiting a group show of Berlin-based artists in our other rooms. So there is much to see at LiTE-HAUS in October!
