Call for Submissions - Shape Arts

Call out for disabled artists to exhibit and sell exceptional work in London, as part of Shape Art’s pop up gallery initiative. 
Shape's exciting new Gallery is based on ‘The Street’ in the Westfield Stratford City shopping centre. 
This is an open exhibition, so work exploring any theme and using any medium, will be considered. We are looking for 2D originals and prints, and small plinth based works by disabled artists, available to show from early February 2015.  The deadline for submission is 12 noon on Monday 19th January.
Please email exhibitions@shapearts.org.uk with up to four images of your work. Please ensure that you provide the following for each piece you are proposing:

• JPEGs of the work, clearly labelled with title name  [Note: must be no larger than 1MB]
• Title of work
• Year
• Medium of work [please state if you are providing framed or unframed]
• Measurements in cm
• Weight [if wall based]
• Minimum sale price [Shape will add 40% commission to cover our costs]

Funding is not available for artists, so they must be able to deliver their work to the space on an agreed date if accepted for the showcase. Not all submissions will be accepted. Selected works must be able to be removed with five days if given notice. Work cannot be guaranteed to be on display for the full duration of the exhibition as stock will be rotated.  Shape is not liable for damage or theft of artworks.
