We approach technology at what appears to the artist as a headlong rush, a race to integrate ourselves as individuals and as a society without pausing to consider the implications. Our commitment to the telephone as a mode of communication gives rise to a binary impact, not only do we get the ability to contact others, but open ourselves up to the possibly unintended result of being available and overexposed to our socially geographic and digital environments.
