Starting with John Cage, the artistic border areas of notation, painting, drawing, installation and sound are the subject of this exhibition. A network of artist friendships and relatives is conveyed. The personal relationships and artistic connections between the composers, visual artists, stage artists and writers John Cage, Dieter Schnebel, Achim Freyer, Alvin Curran and Gerhard Rühm are hidden behind the selected works. The exhibition is accompanied by a series of events with concerts, films and discussions.
