C4RD presents: C4RD LAboratory Unextinguished

Centre for Recent Drawing presents C4RD Laboratory: Unextinguished, part of our ongoing Laboratory series that seeks to extend student programmes by providing an experimental exhibition environment; in this offering we feature artists from Chelsea School of Art, Goldsmiths University and Camberwell College of Art. The four artists, Paul Kindersley, Grace Schofield, Patrick Staff and Amy Woodward recently travelled together to a foreign city to make work both there and immediately following, in order to discover the possibilities and limitations of a geographically and psychically foreign journey and to examine the consonance and dissonance of work produced in proximity temporally and physically. Their work is varied with issues of the present past and future, fantasy, representation and mimesis as joint and recurrent themes.
