Affordable works in our Mirror Gallery this September include Berkshire-based potters Bronwen Coussens and Sophie Waite. Bronwen uses coiling techniques, allowing the vessels to develop organically into asymmetric works which are later layered with sgraffito, slips and glazes. Sophie uniquely creates smoke-fired wall-based pieces that utilise familiar objects such as urns, plates, vases and teapots.
