Workshop on our well-being as creative practitioners generally and within our workspaces, inspired by the zine "Building as Body" created by Manual Labours.
About
Join us for a facilitated group discussion led by Tamara Micner (performance artist) and Yael Roberts (visual artist) about how we take care of ourselves as creative practitioners both on an ongoing basis and within our workspaces (studios, offices, galleries, etc.) The discussion will be inspired by and will include parts of the zine "Building as Body" created by Manual Labours.
Come prepared for some questions or thoughts - we hope this discussion will lead to further thinking about how we look after ourselves and each other. Less tips and tricks, and more the start of collective support!
Please arrive at 7pm for a 7:15 start. A light dinner will be provided (thank you to MHWOW!).
The event is free, but MYOS is open to donations to help run the space.
