About
The RCA stands at the forefront of this mission, especially with its bespoke course, ‘Building a Globally Successful Creative Business’ – an intensive three-day programme in London.
From 18-20 September 2024, this practical short course is structured around three core themes: building a business, developing new markets, and growing and developing a team. Delivered in an exclusive small-group setting at the new RCA Battersea campus, the course coincides with the London Design Festival, enhancing its scope and impact. Participants will engage in a mix of studio visits, gallery trips, and hands-on sessions designed to re-evaluate, improve, and expand their business capabilities.
As part of the course, participants will also embark on guided trips to leading design and cultural organisations, providing an invaluable opportunity to see theory put into practice. Confirmed destinations this year include Somerset House, Universal Design Studio/Map, Tate Modern, and Bompas & Parr. These excursions are integral to understanding the wider cultural and business contexts of creative industries.
