Travel Information
- The 20, 100 and 101 buses from Hastings train station stop at the Stade bus stop which is a short walk away.
- Hastings Contemporary is approximately 15 minutes’ walk from Hastings train station. Direct train services run regularly to London, Brighton and Ashford International.
The Serpentine Galleries together with Kidesign are challenging budding young architects everywhere to design the pavilions of the future. So if you are aged 8-14 years, like drawing and making stuff and have an interest in architecture and design, then come and show us what you can do!
About
This free mass make workshop introduces participants to the design process, including responding to a brief, sketching and hands-on model making. You will experience 3D CAD modelling and vote for the winning design which will be built using a 3D printer!

Created by the Serpentine’s digital team together with educational design-engineering programmers Kidesign and supported by Bloomberg Philanthropies, the Build Your Own Pavilion project celebrates and promotes architecture to young people everywhere, encouraging them to engage in the task of designing the pavilions of the future.
