British Art Show 7: In the Days of the Comet

This massive art exhibition only tours once every 5 years and is coming to Plymouth for the first time in its 35-year history! See paintings, drawings, sculpture, installations, video, film and performances from a wide range of artists - all of whom were either born or work in Britain. Enjoy a packed programme of events and activities for families, adults, young people and more - most of which will be free to take part in! Please see the website for more details about these. BAS7 will be viewed as one exhibition across five different venues: Peninsula Arts Gallery, University of Plymouth; Plymouth Arts Centre; Plymouth City Museum and Art Gallery; Plymouth Art College Gallery and the Slaughterhouse at the Royal William Yard. BAS7 is a Hayward Touring exhibition from Southbank Centre, London and is curated by Lisa Le Feuvre and Tom Morton. In Plymouth, the exhibition is being delivered by the Plymouth Visual Arts Consortium and is supported by Arts Council England and Plymouth City Council.
