BRICKHOUSE INCARNATION 4: Henry Stringer's Hot Tub at New Gallery London

This Thursday 2nd December sees sculptor Henry Stringer installing his functioning hot tub at New Gallery London as part of BRICKHOUSE Incarnation 4. BRICKHOUSE is a short-living gallery, curated by Guy Gormley, making fast programs of exhibitions, usually with young artists. The gallery does not have its own space but is invited to use other people's. BRICKHOUSE Incarnation 4 sees a new solo show installed each week at the New Gallery London in Peckham. The shows are running throughout November and December, this week is the 5th show of the program with Henry Stringer. Henry works with ambitious 3D fabrications and has recently shown with Hannah Barry at the NewArtCentre Sculpture Park in Wiltshire. For his show at Brickhouse this Thursday, Stringer is exhibiting selected works: a functioning hot tub, as well as a giant, glowing, steel Makita Sign (his favourite power tool brand).
