Brian Mercer Residencies Exhibition

This autumn, the Royal British Society of Sculptors will host an exhibition of works created by the 2011 winners of The Brian Mercer Stone and Bronze Residencies. Two talented sculptors were selected from the RBS membership to spend 3 months developing their skills with the support and guidance of world renowned artisans in Pietrasanta, Tuscany. The selection panel were seeking to identify two sculptors who could seize the opportunity to learn; experiment and extend their boundaries. Halima Cassell ARBS was awarded the Stone Residency at Fondazione Sem and Kate McLeod ARBS was awarded the Bronze Residency at Fonderia Mariani. This exhibition celebrates their discoveries and artist talks on 24 October 2012.
