BRENDAN PRENDEVILLE - SEEING AND FEELING

About

With reference to a miscellany of artist/draughtsmen —from Caravaggio to Klee — the art historian Brendan Prendeville will stake out a special territory of imagery; ‘the dialectic between touch and vision… and the necessary blindness of artistic creation.' Brendan Prendeville studied painting at St Martins and now teaches art history at Goldsmiths. In 2000, Thames and Hudson published his Realism in Twentieth Century Painting, and he has published widely on topics ranging from Agnes Martin to Seurat Drawings. He is currently working on Caravaggio.
