The Brancaster Chronicles, which began in 2013, are recorded or filmed discussions of individual abstract artists' work in their studios. The idea was to open up and extend personal creativity and debate around the work and take it into the public realm via online forums.

The Brancaster Chronicles, which began in 2013, are recorded or filmed discussions of individual abstract artists' work in their studios. The idea was to open up and extend personal creativity and debate around the work and take it into the public realm via online forums.

This exhibition of vibrant and colourful abstract art by members of the Chronicles is curated by local artist and group member Noela James Bewry.

Exhibiting artists:  Robin Greenwood, Sarah Greenwood, Anne Smart, Emyr Williams, John Bunker, Hilde Skilton, John Pollard, Patrick Jones, Alex Harley, Harry Hay, Fred Pollock, Nick Moore, Steven Walker, Richard Ward, Noela James Bewry.

Exhibition Opening:

Join some of the artists at the opening on Sunday 16 October, 2pm - 4pm, all welcome. Tea, coffee & cake.

‘Colourful Collage’ Drop in Workshop for Families:

2pm – 4pm | Sunday 23 October

Call in and get creative with abstract artist Noela Bewry in this friendly, free and fun workshop. For families with children aged 5+. Free but donations welcome (pay what you can … suggested donation £1 per child).

Gallery Walk & Talk Tour:

2pm – 3pm | Thursday 27th October

Join Noela Bewry and guest for an informal ‘walk and talk tour’ of the current exhibition. A chance to hear about the Brancaster Chronicles, discover more about their work and ask questions or share ideas. Free, informal event in the art gallery. Aimed at adults and ages 16+.
