About
On 5 June 1905, the four architecture students Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Erich Heckel, Karl Schmidt-Rottluff and Fritz Bleyl founded the expressionist artist group Brücke. The founding date 120 years ago is to be celebrated with an anniversary exhibition — 120 Berliners present 120 favorite works.
The Brücke-Museum is opening its treasure cabinet and inviting public personalities and private individuals to discover the variety of the collection and choose their favorite work. Numerous paintings, watercolors, drawings and prints, as well as sculptures and handicrafts are available. In addition to the highlights of the collection, works that have never been exhibited before will be detected and displayed.
