Join Kim Kraczon from Ki Culture as she tackles myths around alternative materials and methods in art production, sustainable packaging, circular economies, waste streams, and how artists can embed sustainability in their individual practices.

About

In the session, Kim will encourage participants to rethink their approaches to waste and the ‘recycling myth’, interrogating the environmental burden of the materials that they are currently working with.

Participants will be given the time and space to critically examine greenwashing language and images associated with ‘eco-friendly’ materials, as well as gaining practical insights into sourcing sustainable packaging in London and the UK more widely.

The workshop will end with a 20-30min Q&A, where you will get the chance to put your questions to Kim and delve into specific questions directly relating to your own journey with sustainability and artistic practice.

This online session is designed to give artists, makers and creatives practical, hands-on knowledge that they can apply directly to their practice.
