A free entry art exhibition showing Taff's Well and Gwaeld y Garth through the eyes of Taff's Well born artist Kevin Williams.

About

Local artist Kevin Williams will be displaying over forty paintings and drawings of scenes taken from in around Taff's Well and Gwaelod y Garth. Through his eyes, you will get a true feel of both the reality and the beauty of two villages which sit in the beautiful Taff Vale Valley and are separated by the Taff River. Guarding its charges, is the magnificent Garth Mountain which was imortalized by Hollywood writer and director Chris Monger (who was born in Taff's Well and a former artist himself) in his film 'The Englishman who went up a hill and came down a mountain'.

Included in the exhibition will be work submitted by the children of Taff’s Well & Gwaleod y Garth Primary Schools through a collaborative project with Kevin. Admission is free with the venue being a charming ‘olde’ style pub with a wonderful transformed exhibition area so if you like your real ale and your art – then you know where to go.
