Borde Hill, a historic garden, located in the heart of Sussex, will again be transformed into an outdoor gallery, providing the perfect backdrop for the 18th annual Sculpture Exhibition, kindly sponsored by 1st Central.
About
Opening on the 12th May to the public, the exhibition will bring the Garden to life, showcasing works by established and up-and-coming artists from across the South of England.
Visitors will discover an extraordinary mix of abstract and figurative works in bronze, resin, stone, metalwork and ceramic, with a number of pieces commissioned especially to celebrate the 21st Anniversary of Borde Hill’s Rose Garden.
The sculptures will be strategically placed to compliment the renowned plant collection, encouraging visitors to explore what Country Life has described as ‘One of the country’s truly great gardens’.
The Stephenson Clarke family, who have lived at Borde Hill for four generations, say: ‘We are looking forward enormously to seeing the array of sculptures in the Garden again this year as it’s the highlight of the season’.
The Exhibition will run daily from 12th May to 2nd October 2017, with admission included in the standard entry price. Families will be encouraged to explore the exhibition with our popular and engaging Kids Sculpture Trail.
All pieces are available to purchase.
