How does patriarchy intend to make women and nature flow, to be shaped and to behave a certain way? And how, in a countermovement, do we create an ecofeminist utopia?

About

Bodies of Water is a show that brings together London- and Austria-based artists to reflect on how both forces of nature - water and the female body - find their natural flows despite living in adverse environments.
With our multidisciplinary arts show on the SLASH ARTS houseboat Gallery, we are occupying both a public and domestic space. The houseboat being a domestic sphere which is floating on the Regency Canal, a man-made public water body, serves as a fitting space for an artistic intervention featuring dance, performance, music, and participatory workshops.
In exploring the intertwined currents of nature and femininity, Bodies of Water beckons us to envision an ecofeminist utopia, sighting out a wave of transformation. Come on board and ride along with us.
