The celebrated German artist takes over the Tanks.
About
The third annual BMW Tate Live Exhibition is dedicated to artist Anne Imhof.
Imhof constructs atmospheric environments inhabited by groups of collaborators. For ten days and six nights, they will take over the Tanks with performances that combine music, painting and choreographed gestures.
The ticketed performances will take place in the evening. You will be able to explore the spaces for free during the day.
Imhof (b.1978) lives and works in Frankfurt and Berlin. She represented Germany at the 2017 Venice Biennale where she was awarded a Golden Lion for her work Faust. This is her first exhibition in a UK museum.
