A half-day workshop of surviving the effects of climate change with Heath Bunting

About

DiSCo Journal + PERMA RECESS presents a WHAT WORKS !? event

Value multiplication in the age of climate emergency, soil infertility and energy shortages

Now that we are losing the war against the multi-polar world, Mother Nature and the laws of thermodynamics, it's time to rapidly develop a Plan B—probably indoors.

To this end, we offer a comparison between cryptocurrency mining and successive potato growing analysing energy sources, value capture and waste product recycling.

Real-life examples include bitcoin investment, indoor growing under LED lights, solar capture with vegetables and energy de-graded web servers.

If you have considered warming your home this winter with waste heat from your bitcoin or hydro grow rigs, then come and get deeper into the current thing!

Led by DiSCo Journal Artist-in-Residence Heath Bunting. Part of Issue 2 (to be published in autumn 2023).
