About
The BLIND DATE exhibition series invites the public, as the name implies, to a leap of faith as these events will not disclose, in advance, many of the details usually provided in a press release. In this case the identity of the artist involved or any other information will be concealed until the opening event.Lateral ArtSpace - independent platform for contemporary art - initiated in April 2012 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, as an experimental platform for young and emerging artists, emphasizing the dialogue between local and international artists.
The exhibition is part of the event Fabrica de Pensule - 10 ani, marking 10 years of the Paintbrush Factory, of which Lateral ArtSpace was part for the last 7 years. After 10 years of existence, a moment of reflection: on the past, on the changes of the current cultural scene, on the transformation of the city and its main actors.
