Black SuperSheroes is the first exhibition of it's kind putting women of color at the forefront within the arts showcasing positive and empowering images of women as our much loved female characters.
About
Black SuperSheroes is a family-friendly art exhibition celebrating women of color as some of our much-loved female film characters. From Wonder Woman to Mary Poppins, we aim to expose young girls to inclusivity as well as female empowerment. Not only is this an exhibition for art lovers but also an ideal exhibition for schools and youth clubs as activities/workshops for will be included throughout the duration of the exhibition. On preview night, there will be games where you can win a print as well as listening to some your favorite cartoon/tv series theme songs. All of the artwork displayed on the show will be for sale.
Not only is this exhibition perfect for celebrating women for International Women's Day but is something adults can reminisce about as well as something young children will enjoy.
