For the B-LA Connect Festival 2019, SomoS is happy to be hosting the Los Angeles artist-run space Nothing Special for a group exhibition curated by its founder, Frank J. Stockton.
About
B-LA Connect is a cultural exchange platform between artist/curator-run collectives in Berlin and Los Angeles. For its first edition in 2019, 20 Los Angeles art spaces will be exhibited at 22 Berlin art spaces. The interdisciplinary program includes exhibitions, film screenings, performances, talks and more. In 2020, the participating Berlin art spaces shall return the visit to Los Angeles.A selection of works of artists from the exciting network of this gallery shall takeover SomoS during the first week of June. SomoS hosts Nothing Special will include works by Mark Flores, Julienne Fusello, William E. Jones, Anthony Miserendino, Jeff St. Andrews, Frank J. Stockton & Willa Wasserman. Poised and prepared, we open our doors to the possibilities of how this 11 by 11 foot space may become transformed and reinterpreted at SomoS and in Berlin.
