About

Welcome to the world of ‘Birds, Bugs & Beasts’, a group show exclusive to Jealous North featuring a selection of some of the biggest names in contemporary art. The exhibition explores and celebrates all of natures animals, big and small, all published in the Jealous Print Studios.

Bringing the gallery space to life with everyday, endangered, and extinct creatures, ‘Birds, Bugs & Beasts’ will showcase limited edition screenprinted works by Jacky Tsai, Guy Allen, Charming Baker & Why Not Associates, Jessica Albarn, Bench Allen, Ralph Steadman, and Dave White. The exhibition will also feature never before exhibited works by the incredible talents of Bench Allen and Guy Allen.

To celebrate the opening of the exhibition, London based illustrator and printmaker Bench Allen will be live drawing onto the Jealous North window and leaving a trail of hand drawn creatures around the gallery. On Saturday 29th April from 10am-6pm and Sunday 30th April from 11am-5pm, visitors to the gallery will be given a rare chance to engage and meet with Bench Allen whilst he works, adorning the windows and walls with his creepy critters.

The exhibition runs until 14th May and is open to all.
