About
A Solo exhibition of Bianco Tsai, a Taiwanese illustration artist and graphic designer. She specialises in book cover designs that features her unique light hearted and relaxed illustrations featuring stylised animals and human figures. This solo exhibition showcases her artworks and her abilities to utilise her knowledge of both graphic design and illustration to make one of a kind multi-media artworks.
'In 2010, me and my family went to Japan for a bit, I carried my LOMO camera with me, took numerous pictures, but never had the time to develop the photos.
It stayed in my drawer for twelve years.
This year, Taiwanese stock market is horrible, Taiwan pandemic is horrible as well, we haven't gone out for ages, just like that roll of film.
Consumed by work and time, blended into a file of mud. So I want to scream, loudly, on the empty tube.'
Materials used for the show: outdated film, neon acrylic, illustration.
