Work from a one-year residency with digital artist Joe Mahony and his clients at the Grianan Day-Care centre. Bho Cùl na Grèin: From the Back of the Sun represents the culmination of a years work by users of the Grianan Centre Stornoway. Over this time digital artist Joe Mahony has been working with the Centre clients to form their ideas into artworks. Although each artist in the exhibition has created their work by use of computer technology the variety of the work produced is wide. There are large hand painted pieces, comic books, sculpture, collage, video, photography and animation. The work displayed is a selection from artwork produced over the year and covers topics from personal reflection to historic documentation.
