as part of the exhibition
'Beyond the Surface'.
Eva and Marjory invite you to join them in the Boiler Room for an open discussion on both the works on display and other matters such as materials, visual interpretation, collaborative practice ......... in fact, anything which relates to the exhibition or the wider field of Art. If you are an artist we would like to hear about your practice.
Come and take part in what we hope will be a lively exchange of ideas/views/opinions etc.

These four artists based in West Dorset come together to exhibit their new work relating to the common idea of ‘The Surface'. The surface in all its many interpretations, as an object, idea, illusion and space. The work shown relies on how the visitor approaches and interacts with the pieces allowing them to decide on what they are viewing. The artists aim to give those viewing the work a new experience and to leave the gallery with the ideas that all is not how it appears on the surface.
