Beyond the Edge of Forever includes two new works by Ronnie Doom.Who will be the first to tell us of a past adventure? an immersive sculpture occupying two floors of a studio space in Beck Road, East London. It takes the form of an archeological discovery, featuring a mysterious control room and a gateway to another time.
Masters of Time, the second installment of the Ronnie Doom Radio Show on CD, will be available for free at the opening.
With Beyond the Edge of Forever, Doom continues to explore ideas of civilization and belonging, inviting us to join in with a search for a greater purpose, and to question what we find. Doom peels back the layers of time, and instead of finding solid answers and truth, uncovers a perplexing composite of past, future, present, reality and fantasy.
